New partners and new office for ALC Alieldean Weshahi & Partners

February 16, 2020

Dear
friends and colleagues,

We hope you are all in good spirits as we share with you some news of our firm to start the new year:

We have a new home. We have officially moved to our new office building at 5 Abdel Kawy Shams in DokkiOur new premises are custom designed to accommodate our growing team of partners and lawyers and provide our clients a comfortable and inspiring place to do business — and to allow us to showcase our collection of modern Egyptian art. We look forward to welcoming you in the days to comeYou can find us here on Google Maps and our full mailing address is in my signature at the end of this note.

We have two new partners. We are delighted to announce that coinciding with our move to new premises, we have invited two talented lawyers to join our partnership. They are:

Ms. Marwa El Khodarya graduate of Cairo University and London School of Economics with 20 years of experienceMarwa served as a general counsel for a major international pharmaceutical company and her work experience has seen her at IFC, the Ministry of Trade and a major law firm in Dubai.

MrBahaa Sholkamy has more than 25 years of experience and was previously a partner at a Cairobased law firm with focus on sports law and complex commercial transactions. In addition to his corporate practice, he leads a team of lawyers that focus on legal and regulatory aspects of sports clubs.

We’re launching new branding. We have a sentimental attachment to Arab Legal Consultants (ALC), but it is an acronym that our firm of seven partners and 30 lawyers has outgrown. Effective today, we are now known as ALC Alieldean Weshahi & Partners. Our new brand suits our fast-growing team and our status as the specialist firm on which you call for counsel on large, complex, high-stakes transactions and issues in Egypt and in the financial centres that matter to us all.

I wish you all a very happy and successful 2020.
Sincerely,
Bahaa
