Mohamed Kamal


Mr. Mohamed Kamal has spent a fair share of his career representing national and international firms in Egypt during the various stages of their investment cycles from negotiation to closing. He has gained significant  expertise in multiple areas including oil and gas, pubic private partnerships (PPP), infrastructure projects, tax law, aviation and commercial agreements. Prior to that, Kamel worked on various types of cases; he began his professional career as a public prosecutor in Egypt, where he handled various types of criminal cases. Between 1995-96 he served as a legal advisor to the Minister of International Cooperation. As an associate at Baker and McKenzie and a partner at one of Egypt’s leading law firms, Kamel oversaw various partnership negotiations for major projects such as water supply and power generation, in addition to working on various commercial and tax-related cases. Kamel holds a B.A. in law from Cairo University and a Masters’ degree from the University of London.
